Simple grapefruit salad with crème fraîche and pine nuts

The Deets

Let me tell you about this delightful grapefruit salad that I can’t stop raving about! It features juicy grapefruit segments tossed with a velvety crème fraîche, toasted pine nuts, and a sprinkle of flaky sea salt, all drizzled with a touch of high-quality olive oil. Have you ever tried salting grapefruit before? If not, you’re in for a treat! Adding salt really enhances the natural sweetness of the grapefruit and brings out its bright, tangy flavor, making every bite a burst of deliciousness.

This combination is not only incredibly tasty but also makes for a refreshing snack or a light dessert that feels special yet requires very little effort. The creamy richness of the crème fraîche pairs perfectly with the citrusy zing of the grapefruit, while the pine nuts add a delightful crunch. Plus, it looks gorgeous on a plate, making it a lovely addition to any meal or gathering.

I’ve got to give a shout-out to @osmosalt for providing this beautiful pink salt, which elevates the dish even more with its unique flavor and stunning appearance. 💕💕 So next time you’re looking for something simple but impressive, give this grapefruit salad a try—you won’t be disappointed!
