The Deets
I made this dish a few weeks ago, and I’ve been so excited to finally share it with you! This is baked feta wrapped in golden, flaky filo dough, sprinkled with everything bagel seasoning, and topped with rich, nutty brown butter and a drizzle of honey. It’s a stunning combination of flavors and textures—crispy, creamy, savory, and sweet—all in one bite.
If you’re looking for a new appetizer idea, this one is an absolute showstopper. Not only does it taste incredible, but it’s also visually impressive, making it perfect for entertaining or for elevating your weekend plans. Serve it up at a dinner party, bring it to a potluck, or enjoy it as a fun snack with family or friends.
The best part? It’s surprisingly simple to make, and the payoff is huge. The filo dough bakes up beautifully crisp, creating a delightful contrast to the creamy feta inside. The everything bagel seasoning adds a burst of savory flavor, while the brown butter and honey drizzle take it to the next level with their sweet, buttery richness.
Here’s how to make it step by step, so you can enjoy this irresistible dish too. Trust me, once you try it, you’ll want to make it again and again! Let me know what you think in the comments. Be sure to check out my other appetizer ideas here.
