Cantaloupe toast with crispy prosciutto and chili crisp

This cantaloupe toast is easy and flavorful for a quick lunch.

The Deets

This one has a little bit of everything: creamy farmers’ cheese, sweet cantaloupe, crispy prosciutto, and a drizzle of chili crisp, all piled onto a slice of sourdough toast. It’s the perfect mix of flavors and textures—rich, savory, sweet, and spicy all in one bite. I’ve always been a fan of the classic pairing of prosciutto and cantaloupe, but adding the chili crisp really takes it to the next level. The heat from the chili crisp perfectly complements the sweetness of the melon, while the crispy prosciutto adds that irresistible salty crunch. It’s an unexpected twist on a familiar flavor combo, and it works so well!

If you’re looking for a quick lunch or snack idea, this toast is one to save and try. The creamy farmers’ cheese creates a smooth, tangy base that ties everything together, and the sourdough adds a hearty texture with just the right amount of crunch. It’s easy to make but feels a little fancy, making it perfect for a midday pick-me-up or even a light dinner. If you enjoy this toast as much as I do, you’re in for a treat—I’ve got plenty more toast combinations and snack ideas to share, so stay tuned for more inspiration!
