This fontina cheese and crispy broccolini wrap is the perfect mid-day snack.

The Deets
Oooh, this one is so good—it’s a delightful combination of creamy, melty fontina cheese and crispy broccolini wrapped up in a warm, soft tortilla, all drizzled with homemade chili oil. It’s simple yet packed with flavor! This veggie wrap is the perfect little snack or a quick, satisfying lunch option when you want something light but filling. What I love most about it is how easy it is to prepare and how versatile it can be. Plus, homemade chili oil is incredibly simple to make and is a great condiment to have on hand for drizzling on everything from veggies to pasta or even pizza. I absolutely love cooking broccolini—it’s such a unique veggie with its tender stems and slightly bitter flavor. Adding a little heat from the chili oil and richness from the fontina takes this wrap to a whole new level. It’s a delicious, healthy twist on a classic veggie wrap, and I can’t get enough of it! If you decide to give this a try, I’d love to hear your thoughts! Let me know how it turns out and if you make any fun twists of your own! Check out more veggie ideas here.
Here’s how to make it:

Fontina Cheese and crispy broccolini wrap with chili oil
Ingredients
- Broccolini
- Fontina cheese, grated
- Red pepper flakes
- Good olive oil
- Wrap of your choice
- Salt/pepper
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Make your oil. Add red pepper flakes and good olive oil to a pan and cook on low for about 20 min or until the oil gets a red tint (see reel for color). Once that happens, drain out flakes and keep oil.
- Make broccolini. Preheat oven to 425. Wash broccolini and add some of the chili oil, salt and pepper. Toss and evenly coat. I added a combo of chili oil and regular good olive oil just because I didnt want a ton of spice, but totally up to you. Cook for about 15-20 or until slightly charred. Remove and roughly chop.
- Add broccoli to your wrap, then grated cheese.Top with a drizzle of chili oil, salt and pepper. Add butter to a saute pan and then add your wrap. Cook on medium heat until crispy on the outside.
- Remove and serve. Enjoy!
