The Deets

During the holidays, there’s nothing quite like the cozy comfort of making garlic confit. It’s one of those kitchen rituals that fills the air with warmth and anticipation. Picture this: garlic cloves gently simmering in olive oil until they become soft, golden, and infused with irresistible flavor. I added it to one of my favorite avocado toasts and it was just delish! Just imagine creamy avocado mashed onto perfectly toasted bread, topped with a generous dollop of that fragrant garlic confit. To brighten things up, a sprinkle of freshly grated lemon zest adds a zesty kick, while juicy pomegranate seeds add a burst of sweet-tart flavor. Such a delicious flavor combo! Each bite is bursting of flavors and textures, from the creamy avocado to the crunchy toast and the tangy sweetness of the pomegranate. If you’re looking for an olive oil for the confit, I’ve been loving this one from Graza! So, if you’re looking to add a little extra magic to your holiday season, give this avocado toast with garlic confit, lemon zest, and pomegranate a try!!
