Buttery mushrooms, burrata and truffle toast

This toast has all my favorite things: buttery herb mushrooms, burrata and summer black truffles on toast. I got the truffles as part of my gift box from Tasty ribbon. Here’s how to make this one:

Buttery mushrooms, burrata and truffle toast

  • Bread of choice
  • Burrata
  • About 1 cup of mushrooms (I used one of those variety packs)
  • A few sprigs of thyme
  • 1-2 tbsp butter
  • Sea salt and pepper
  • Summer black truffles
  • Olive oil


  • Clean mushrooms and add to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Let them brown and release some liquid. After about 5 min, add butter and thyme to the skillet.
  • Cook until mushrooms are tender, about another 5 min or so. Transfer to a plate. Coat bread in olive oil and add to skillet. Cook for 2-3 min per side.
  • Add burrata to toast and top with the mushrooms. Add a few black truffles and enjoy!
