These whipped gorgonzola figs are the perfect spring appetizer!

The Deets
This is my new go-to spring appetizer for a party! Whipped gorgonzola with crushed nuts, mint, and hot honey on figs. This creamy whipped spread is also so good on toast or crostinis, but in this case, I used on it figs. Figs are great because they have their own flavor, but are sturdy enough to be a base to adding toppings, too. Not to mention they are healthy! The whole thing comes together so quickly and it’s delicious! There’s little to no cooking involved here just chopping and mixing. You’ll combine your gorgonzola, cream, Greek yogurt, and olive oil in a food processor and then assemble your figs. Top the figs with a little dollop of the spread, some crushed nuts, hot honey, and fresh mint. SO easy! I’m a huge fan of hot honey and use it quite a bit – it just adds a little extra kick with a hint of sweetness to your food. The mint adds a hint of freshness that really takes this to the next level. If you loved this recipe, be sure to check out my collection of appetizer ideas for your next party!
