This Turkey Grinder Sandwich is stacked with all the greats for a deli sandwich. This version adds Trader Joe’s Unexpected Cheddar Cheese.

This Turkey Grinder Sandwich is a deli-style dream with a bold twist. Layers of sliced turkey, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and banana peppers are stacked high on a crusty hoagie roll, then drizzled with a zippy vinaigrette. But the real secret weapon? A generous layer of Trader Joe’s Unexpected Cheddar—sharp, creamy, and just funky enough to take this grinder to the next level.
Toasted until melty and golden, it’s the kind of sandwich that hits every craving: salty, tangy, crunchy, and cheesy. The Unexpected Cheddar melts beautifully into the turkey, adding richness and a little surprise in every bite. It’s quick to throw together but tastes like something you’d wait in line for at a neighborhood sandwich shop.
