This Whipped Cottage Cheese Dip with Fig Jam combines cottage cheese, cream cheese, and honey with fig jam, crispy bacon, and crushed pistachios for an easy holiday appetizer.
Cook the bacon: Add the bacon to a skillet over medium heat and cook until crisp, about 8–10 minutes, flipping as needed. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to cool, then finely chop into bacon bits.
Make the whipped cottage cheese: Add the cottage cheese, softened cream cheese, honey, kosher salt, and a few cracks of black pepper to a food processor or high-speed blender. Blend until completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
Assemble the dip: Spoon the whipped cottage cheese mixture onto a shallow serving plate or bowl and spread it into an even layer. Spoon the fig jam over the top, leaving some of the cottage cheese mixture visible.
Finish and serve: Sprinkle with the bacon bits and crushed pistachios. Finish with a drizzle of honey and a pinch of flaky sea salt, if desired. Serve with toasted sourdough, crostini, or crackers.

Notes
Tip: If the fig jam is thick, warm it for 10–15 seconds or stir in a teaspoon of warm water before spooning it over the dip. This makes it easier to spread without disturbing the whipped cottage cheese base.
