This Turkey BLT is stacked with bacon, tomato, mozzarella, and a caesar slaw. Great for a beach day or a new lunch routine.

When it comes to the ultimate turkey sandwich, this is my go-to recipe that never disappoints. This is a Turkey BLT with layers of melty mozzarella, slices of turkey, and crispy bacon—all perfectly balanced with slices of heirloom tomatoes and a chopped, creamy Caesar-inspired slaw. The combination of smoky bacon and fresh tomato is a classic that I can’t resist, but when you add in the turkey and slaw, it takes this sandwich to a whole new level.
This sandwich has everything you could want: it’s crunchy, crispy, and bursting with fresh flavors in every bite. The mozzarella melts just enough to give you that gooey cheese pull, while the bacon adds a satisfying crunch. The creamy slaw brings in a rich, tangy element that ties all the flavors together. Whether you’re packing it up for a picnic, or you want to switch up your lunch routine, this sandwich is guaranteed to be a hit.

Turkey BLT
Ingredients
The creamy caesar:
- Thinly chopped romaine
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tbsp capers
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1 tbsp pepperoncinis diced
- 1 cup greek yogurt or mayo
- A squeeze of lemon
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- A nice glug of good olive oil
- Red onion I like to slice mine and soak in some water so they’re a little less strong when I add them to a sandwich
The rest:
- Ciabatta loaf
- Deli turkey
- Heirloom tomato slices
- A sprinkle of mozzarella
- Romaine lettuce
- Bacon
Instructions
- Thinly slice onions and add water to a small bowl. This will mellow them out.
- Make caesar dressing by combining all ingredients except for the olive oil in a bowl. Slowly whisk in olive oil. Season to taste. Add in chopped romaine and mix until creamy and combined.
- Add a few slices of bacon to a pan and cook on medium heat until desired crispiness. Transfer to a paper towel lined plate.
- Add shredded mozzarella to ciabatta and broil for a few min until brown and bubbly. Add turkey, tomato, bacon and romaine slaw. Wrap, slice and enjoy!
