These easy to make straccietella and ham crostinis have a perfect amount of kick from spicy jam!

The Deets
I’ve got another easy appetizer idea coming for you! Get ready to indulge in these stracciatella and ham crostinis with spicy jam! They are quick, easy and oh-so delicious! A little background on stracciatella cheese is that it’s shreds of fresh mozzarella soaked in sweet cream and made from fresh milk. It’s also known for being what’s inside burrata. The stracciatella has a melt-in-your-mouth texture and it’s easily spreadable – making it a perfect choice for this type of app. It pairs so well with cured meat and a sweet jam, so this combo is *chefs kiss*. I used a cured ham for this and a spicy pepper jam – like this one from Stonewall Kitchen. You can change it up by using a cured meat of choice like a prosciutto or a different jam if you don’t love spice. I find this sweet and savory combo to be perfect on a toasted French baguette! Slice up a fresh baguette and toast them up and begin crafting your crostinis! Check out the recipe below to make this crostini! If you love this, be sure to check out my other crostini recipes here!
