Jalapeño Cheddar Tuna Salad Sandwich
Ingredients
The tuna salad:
- 3 oz Albacore tuna
- 1 tbsp Diced red onion
- 1 tbsp Whipped cream cheese
- 1 tsp Kewpie mayo
- 1/2 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese
The rest:
- Brioche bread (or whatever bread you prefer)
- 1/2 cup Marble Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- A few slices of jalapeño
- Slice of heirloom tomato
- Salt
- Pepper
- Arugula
Instructions
- Combine tuna salad ingredients into a bowl until combined. Season to taste. You might want to adjust depending on how creamy or spicy you want it to be.
- Preheat oven to broil. Scoop tuna salad onto bread and add ¼ cup shredded cheddar. bBoil until cheese gets browned and bubbly.
- Add slices of jalapeño, a slice of tomato and a handful of arugula. Season with salt and pepper. Enjoy!
