Edible Spring Simmer Pots

This is what you make when you’re officially done with winter and ready for Spring–These are edible floral & citrus simmer pots, and I promise it’ll make your kitchen smell like spring in a bowl.

The Deets:
These delightful simmer pots only take a few simple ingredients to make, they look beautiful and just get you so excited for Spring. You can just keep them on your stovetop for the day and discard whenever you want, OR you could turn them into a citrus-infused tea. Simply strain the ingredients and drink the tea on its own or add to your favorite juice for a refreshing drink.

Ingredients

  • 2 Oranges
  • 1 Lime
  • 1 Lemon
  • 2 Sprigs of rosemary
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • A variety of edible dried flowers I ordered these on Amazon
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

Instructions

  • Add water about ¾ to the top of a simmer pot of dutch oven. Slice all of your fruit and add to the bowl.
  • Add honey, rosemary, dried flowers and cinnamon and add to your stovetop on medium heat. Once it starts to simmer, reduce heat to low and let all those aromatics steam into your house. After only a few minutes, your kitchen should smell amazing!
