Cucumber and Slow Smoked Mackerel with Chili Flakes

This cucumber and slow smoked mackerel is my take on the viral cucumber trend.

The Deets

You know the drill—sometimes ya just need to eat an entire cucumber, and this is hands down the most delicious way to do it, thanks to the flavor-packed goodness of @fishwife.Slow Smoked Mackerel with Chili Flakes. 🌶️🐟

Big shoutout to @logansfewd for all the cucumber inspiration! His viral videos have been such a blast to watch, and I’ve loved putting my own spin on them. For my take on this crunchy, refreshing dish, I went all out with cucumber, thinly sliced radish, edamame, scallion, fresh cilantro, red onion, crispy noodles, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds for that perfect crunch. 🌿🧅🥢

It’s super easy to make: just toss all those fresh ingredients into a large plastic container, secure the lid, and give it a satisfying shake until everything’s coated in that smoky, savory goodness. The result? An irresistibly tasty, quick, and healthy lunch that’s perfect for any day of the week. 🥗
