Smoky Pesto Turkey BLT

Ingredients

  • 2 Slices sourdough bread
  • 2 tbsp Pesto Homemade or store bought.
  • 1 tbsp Mayo
  • A few drops of pickled brine I used banana pepper brine, but you could use pickles, or really anything you want
  • 3 Slices of turkey
  • 3 Slices of bacon
  • Red onion
  • Banana peppers
  • Lettuce
  • Good olive oil
  • 2 Slices of tomato

Instructions

  • Coat bread in olive oil and cook for 2-3 min per side until golden brown. Remove from pan and set aside.
  • Add bacon to same pan and cook on medium heat for about 4 min per side or until desired crispiness. Transfer to a paper towel lined plate.
  • Make pesto mayo by combining mayo, pesto and pickle brine.
  • Spread pesto mayo on toast and add turkey, slices of tomato, bacon, red onion, lettuce, and banana peppers. That's it! Enjoy!
