Oooh this one is so good: fontina cheese and crispy broccolini wrap with a homemade chili oil. This is a great little snack or an easy lunch option. Also, homemade chili oil is easy to make and great to have on hand.
Here’s how to make it:

Fontina Cheese and crispy Broccolini wrap with a homemade chili oil
Ingredients
- Broccolini
- Fontina cheese, grated
- Red pepper flakes
- Good olive oil
- Wrap of your choice
- Salt/pepper
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Make your oil. Add red pepper flakes and good olive oil to a pan and cook on low for about 20 min or until the oil gets a red tint (see reel for color). Once that happens, drain out flakes and keep oil.
- Make broccolini. Preheat oven to 425. Wash broccolini and add some of the chili oil, salt and pepper. Toss and evenly coat. I added a combo of chili oil and regular good olive oil just because I didnt want a ton of spice, but totally up to you. Cook for about 15-20 or until slightly charred. Remove and roughly chop.
- Add broccoli to your wrap, then grated cheese.Top with a drizzle of chili oil, salt and pepper. Add butter to a saute pan and then add your wrap. Cook on medium heat until crispy on the outside.
- Remove and serve. Enjoy!
